EU to deepen ties with China

During the 25th China-EU Summit held in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping Thursday met with the visiting President of the European Council Antonio Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

Xi called on China and the EU to provide more stability and certainty for the world through steady and sound China-EU relations. The EU leaders said since the establishment of the diplomatic ties 50 years ago, Europe and China have carried out cooperation in a wide range of fields.

The European Union (EU) is committed to deepening relations with China, and pushing forward cooperation between the two sides in multiple fields such as green development.
