  • India delivers lifesaving medical aid to Syria

India on Tuesday sent a fresh batch of essential medicines to Syria, reaffirming its humanitarian commitment to support conflict-hit regions with critical healthcare supplies.  India handed over a consignment of 5 MT of essential life saving medicines, including anti-cancer, antibiotics and anti-hypertensive to Syria.

The gesture is part of India’s ongoing efforts to provide relief and medical assistance to conflict-affected regions and underscores New Delhi’s commitment to extend support during humanitarian crises.

Hundreds of dancers have demonstrated their skills simultaneously at the Awa Odori festival in the western Japanese city of Tokushima.Full-scale outdoor performances started at several venues on Tuesday. As the climax of the day, “so-odori” dancing was staged at one of the sites, involving 1,700 dancers from 15 groups showing off their superlative skills. On 14th August, Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko accompanied by concerned officials inspected the regional development activities within Kawthaung District of Tanintharyi Region.On arrival at Kawthaung District and Township Law office building construction site, the Chief Minister instructed to complete the construction process within the set timeframe, emphasizing on resilience and quality of the building. Swiss pilot Raphael Domjan beated the altitude record for a solar-powered electric plane on Tuesday in a flight that took him soaring to 9,521 metres, according to his team.The SolarStratos plane made the landmark flight from Sion airport in southwest Switzerland, taking advantage of warm air thermals to go beyond the record that has stood for 15 years. The data will be sent to the World Air Sports Federation governing body, which will decide whether to validate the new record.mitv
