  • World’s 1st robot 6S store opens in south China’s Shenzhen

A robot 6S store, claimed to be the world’s first of its kind, recently opened to the public in Longgang District of Shenzhen, south China’s Guangdong Province. The store has added two new services such as on-demand leasing and fully customized products.

Currently, more than 200 companies from across the industry chain have expressed interest in joining the store’s services, including nearly 50 humanoid and service robot firms. A total of 26 robot companies signed cooperation agreements with the store.

Hundreds of dancers have demonstrated their skills simultaneously at the Awa Odori festival in the western Japanese city of Tokushima.Full-scale outdoor performances started at several venues on Tuesday. As the climax of the day, “so-odori” dancing was staged at one of the sites, involving 1,700 dancers from 15 groups showing off their superlative skills. Swiss pilot surpasses solar-powered plane altitude record
Swiss pilot Raphael Domjan beated the altitude record for a solar-powered electric plane on Tuesday in a flight that took him soaring to 9,521 metres, according to his team.The SolarStratos plane made the landmark flight from Sion airport in southwest Switzerland, taking advantage of warm air thermals to go beyond the record that has stood for 15 years. The data will be sent to the World Air Sports Federation governing body, which will decide whether to validate the new record.mitv
