  • Order No.4/2025: Formation of State Security and Peace Commission

National Defence and Security Council issued an Order No- 4/2025 on Thursday.

It stated that the Council has organized the State Security and Peace Commission to provide necessary guidance and coordinate effectively for successful holding the Multiparty Democratic General election during the legislation, Administration and Judiciary process in line with the Section 427 of the Constitution.

According to the order, the commission was formed with 10 members, chaired by Pro-Tem President (Duty), Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Vice Senior General Soe Win was appointed as the Deputy Chairman, along with the members Prime Minister and Union Minister for National Planning U Nyo Saw, Chief Executive of the office of National Defence and Security Council U Aung Lin Dwe, Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, and Chief of Staff (Army, Navy, Air ) General Kyaw Swar Lin. Joint Chief Executive of the National Defence and Security Council General Ye Win Oo was appointed as the Secretary of the Commission.

The Order was signed by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Pro-Tem President (Duty).
