Innocent Civilians Recklessly Assassinated by So-called PDF Terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 12 March 2025 at 11:00 AM, a report stated that a woman was shot dead in Zay Cho Myauk Ward, Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Daw Khin Thiri Lwin (43 years old), a resident of Sat Tine Kone Ward in Gyobingauk Township, was at her “Nan Wadi” gold shop in Zay Cho Myauk Ward when two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Daw Khin Thiri Lwin died on the spot, it is reported.
Similarly, at 1:20 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Moe Wun Village, Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel conducted for further investigation, it was discovered that Ko Myint Kyaw (31 years old), a resident of Pyi Taw Thar Village in Salin Township, was traveling on his motorcycle to Moe Wun Village. Upon reaching a public rest-house in Moe Wun Village, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, Ko Myint Kyaw died on the spot, it is reported.

Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and the assassinations of innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.
