  • Strengthening Cooperation: SAC Chairman meets with Belarusian President in Minsk

Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Belarus President Mr. Alexander Gregoryevich Lukashenko at the Presidential Palace in Minsk on June 27.

During the talks, both leaders discussed strengthening cooperation between Myanmar and Belarus in various sectors including politics, health, humanitarian assistance, and economic development. They also agreed to develop a strategic Action Plan for future collaboration. President Lukashenko expressed his interest in deepening bilateral ties and appreciated the opportunity to continue previous discussions.

The Prime Minister thanked Belarus for its support during the recent earthquake in Mandalay and expressed gratitude for humanitarian aid and rescue assistance. After the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Belarus President joined other leaders and representatives for a luncheon held as part of the EEF 2025 forum.
