Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Faresine Aghabakian-Shahin, briefed Austrian Minister of European and International Affairs, Beate Reisinger, on the latest political and field developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Reisinger, in turn, stressed the need to end the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and to take urgent steps to provide humanitarian aid. She affirmed her country’s rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace them and Austria’s steadfast support for the two-state solution. During the meeting, the two sides discussed future cooperation in vital sectors such as health, education, clean energy, and innovation.
