The Jakarta Provincial Disaster Management Agency reported that 52 neighborhoods in the capital city are still affected by floodwaters until July 8, while approximately 300 people are still staying in several evacuation centers.

This situation is caused by heavy rainfall, tidal flooding, as well as overflow from several rivers and connecting drainage channels. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency issued flood warning from July 4 to 13. Rescue teams have been mobilized to pump out the floodwaters and ensure that drainage channels are functioning properly.
