Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday visited a section of the Great Wall of China on the fourth day of his official trip to the country.

Previously, Albanese met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing as Australia is willing to strengthen people-to-people exchanges in tourism, education, sports and other areas to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples. Albanese is on his second visit to China as Prime Minister, seeking to bolster recently stabilized trade ties even as geopolitical tensions remain high.
