On 19th June, Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe and officials visited Sagaing University of Education Exam Center and cordially met with the students sitting for the 4th day of matriculation exam.

There, the Union Minister encouraged the students to make exerted efforts during the exam to obtain the best outcome. At Sagaing Education Degree College and No.1 Basic Education High School, the Union Minister oversaw the damaged school buildings and construction of new school buildings and coordinated necessities.

The State Administration Council enacted the Third Amendment to the Union Election Commission Law on Thursday, designating it as Law No. 40/2025 under Section 419 of the Constitution.

The amendment replaces Section 14 of the original law. According to the new provision, “Under Section 10(c), the Commission may form sub-committees at various levels, comprising at least three individuals who are either respected members of the community or service personnel.

On 16 June 2025 at 2:00 PM, a combine team, comprising of the Myanmar Police Force personnel and civilian witnesses, conducted search operations in Swan Saw Ward and Kaung Mu Tone Ward in Muse Town. The operation was launched, acting on information stating that both Chinese and Myanmar nationals were running online scamming activities, operating in these areas.
