Tatkon to welcome model tourist village within a year

A model tourist village is planned to be opened and operated within one year in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, according to a responsible official from the Myanmar Tourism Federation.
The village in question is Nyaungpintha, located in Makyeepin village-tract, Tatkon Township. It was previously affected by flooding and will now be reconstructed and developed into a model tourist village.

Some tourism entrepreneurs said that people are interested again in visiting Tabu Hla Dam, known as Yangon Inlay Lake, which is located at the end of Okkan Sugar Mill Road, 18 miles from Okkan, Yangon Region, and has stunning scenery, seamlessly blending with the Bago Yoma mountain range.
Although the trip to the dam is not currently common, there are still people who are making queries about it, and some operators want to develop a tourist destination.
