DR Congo foreign minister pledges to end FDLR as part of peace deal with Rwanda

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has announced its intention to dismantle the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) following a peace agreement signed with Rwanda. The FDLR, formed by former Hutu leaders linked to the 1994 Rwandan genocide, is considered by Kigali to be an existential threat.

People’s Military Service: 12th Intake of Training Course completed

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and concerned official attended the Graduation ceremony of 12th Intake of People's Military Service Training, which was took place in Taikkyi Township, Yangon Region.
