Türkiye’s Communications Directorate has been hosting the Türkiye-China Media Forum in Ankara on Wednesday. The Forum aims to strengthen bilateral media and communication cooperation and deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The forum brings together media professionals, academics, and public officials from both countries. Participants also discuss potential areas of cooperation in media diplomacy, public outreach, cultural exchange, and digital transformation.

Evacuations are underway after multiple explosions caused a severe blaze at a fireworks warehouse in Northern California's Yolo County on Tuesday. Several structures on the property had caught fire, with the flames spreading into multiple grass fires with a combined burn area of approximately 80 acres, the Esparto Fire Protection District said in a news conference.

The initial explosion happened around 5:50 p.m. Nearly 2,200 Pacific Gas and Electric customers in the area were left without power due to the incident.

The first monsoon rain of the season has severely impacted Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, one of the major cities of Far-West Province of Nepal. Continuous rainfall since Sunday night has submerged dozens of settlements and over 1,000 homes have been flooded. Recent road and bridge construction projects in the city have raised road levels above surrounding settlements, causing waterlogging problems. A delegation from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, led by Vice Chairman of the People's Government Wang Gang, made an official visit to Turkmenistan for negotiations on agricultural cooperation.
