Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 17 January 2025 at 5:00 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to the Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Pyae Phyo Aung (31 years old), a resident of Kyauk Hmaw Village in Yinmarpin Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Kyaw Naing (59 years old), a resident of Shat Pon Village in Palaw Township. While the victim was at the “Pe Ti Aung” snack shop in the village, five so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, the victim sustained gunshot injuries, it is reported.
 Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killing and assassination of innocent civilians in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that an explosive device had detonated near the Myoma Market Street in Myoma Ward in Chaung-U Township. The device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. As a result of the explosion, U Phone Naing (53 years old), a resident of Myothit Ward, who was passing near the incident at the time, died on the spot. Meanwhile, Ko Chit Ko (22 years old), a resident of Kyauk Sit Kan Village, sustained shrapnel injuries while passing through the area, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the sense for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Tin Min Khine, (46 years old), a senior assistant teacher at the Sub Basic Education High School in Ah-Naint Village and resident of the village. The incident occurred that while the victim was at his house, three so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of civil servant and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.

As a result, Daw Nway Nway (30 years old), a junior assistant teacher at the Basic Education Primary School of Pauk Kone Village and Daw Nwe Ni Win (50 years old), both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Sin Phyu Kyun Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. FALSE information circulating from malicious news media claimed that security forces burned two villages in Pinttha station in Kanbalu Township in Sagaing Region on 13 January.
Reports indicate that terrorist groups infiltrated towns and villages to engage in conflicts without considering the well-being of local communities, destroying residents’ lives and property. Security forces conducted necessary security operations in the area to prevent terrorist activities.
Malicious media twisted these efforts to spread false narratives and stir public unrest.
