  • 'Absolutely bonkers': Canines race at UK dog surfing championships

The UK dog surfing championships took place on Sunday in Poole, southwestern England, with competitors racing on paddle boards due to a lack of waves. Inspired by similar contests in Australia and California, the UK event was first held in 2018 and takes place every two years.

At this year's competition, three Guinness World Records are also broken for the fastest 50 metres on a paddle board by a human/dog duo, the most dogs riding on one paddle board and the most dogs riding on paddle boards simultaneously.
