According to the observations at (16:30)hrs MST today, due to the convergence of warm air from the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and cold air from the China high pressure system and the remanent of Well Marked Low-Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West central Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated to scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and fairly widespread to widespread in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls during 20 December 2024 up to 23 December 2024. Advisory People should be awared of the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, lightning strike, lightning, hails, flash floods and landslides in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight. — DMH
