SAC Chairman PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits automobile and communications factories, exhibition centre in Shenzhen City of China

Yesterday morning, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who attended the summits including the 8th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit in Kunming of the People’s Republic of China visited BYD automobile manufacturing company in Shenzhen City of China.

Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division Country Head of BYD Myanmar Mrs Gillian Li and officials welcomed the Senior General and party and held a demonstration on BYD-U9 model manufactured by the company. They explained each vehicle produced by the company and clipped the documentary on brief history of the company and its functions. The Senior General and party viewed round display of auto parts, development of the company in years, production process with the use of scale models, parts of EV train and equipment, running of these trains at home and abroad, batteries of company and their capacity and raised questions to clarification of officials. On the morning of 9 November, the Senior General and party left the Jiangbe iInternational Airport of Chongqing for Shenzhen. They were seen off at the airport by Vice Mayor of Chongqing Mr Shang Kui and party, Consul General U Kyaw Zeyar Lin of the Myanmar Consulate General in Chongqing and officials. On arrival at Bao’an International Airport in Shenzhen, the Senior General and party were warmly welcomed by Vice Mayor of Shenzhen City Mr Dai Jin Tao, Consul General Daw Khaing Hsu Lin of the Myanmar Consulate General in Nanning and officials with the flower basket. When the Senior General and party visited Hytera Communications Corporation Limited in Shenzhen City, Founder and Chairman Mr Chen Qingzhou and officials welcomed them. The documentary on work process of the company was presented at the hall of the company and officials explained the brief history of the company, communication technological devices for global use produced by the company and usage, securing medals for efforts not to interrupt the communication linkages at the emergency periods and smooth and swift process of communication systems at the gala ceremonies, innovation of communication equipment with the use of developing technologies, and distribution of these devices to the markets. The Senior General asked what he wanted to know and held discussions. On arrival at the Tide Rises in the Pearl River Exhibition Centre opened to mark the 40th Anniversary of reform and open-door economy of the Guangdong Province, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Curator Mr Huang Chen and officials. The historical documentary on development of Shenzhen City in successive era was presented. Next, the Senior General and party observed social life style of people in Guangzhou in years, education system, administrative system, the symbol of Guangdong Province, documentary photos and scale models depicting development of all sectors including textile being sold at home and abroad after 1980, documentaries on establishment of special economic zones, construction of infrastructures and display of accessories, and reforms adopted by the Party Central Committee and development in steps along the reform process period. The Senior General raised questions to the curator and officials of relevant booths and held discussions. In the evening, the Senior General and party visited the Civic Centre decorated with LED light show attracting the people. The Senior General and party at tended the dinner in their honour hosted by the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Indus try-UMFCCI and cordially greeted delegation members.
