ACCORDING to the observations at 4:30 pm MST today, monsoon will be strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, due to the easterly waves and westerly waves, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavy falls during today evening to 22 June 2025. Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
