As of June 22nd, the extremely powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28 has resulted in 3,758 deaths, 5,104 injuries, and 48 missing persons across the six regions and states severely affected.
The Myanmar Fire Services Department and local and international search and rescue teams have been carrying out timely search and rescue operations in the affected areas. So far, they have successfully rescued 653 survivors and recovered 836 bodies from collapsed buildings. Further updates will be provided regarding cash and in-kind donations from both local and international well-wishers for the affected people.
