India’s Home Minister Amit Shah issued a strong warning to Naxalites saying that the central government’s operations against Naxalism would continue even during monsoon season.

Amit Shah said, every time during the rainy season, Naxalites used to take rest, as swollen rivers hamper anti-Naxal operations inside dense forest, but this time, the government will not let them sleep during monsoon and will move further to achieve the target of eliminating naxalism by 2026. He further called upon the Naxalites to lay down arms and “join the journey of development”.

MSF marks Seafarers’ Day, aids 300+ cases since 2020
Nearly 40,000 seafarers from Myanmar leave the country each year to serve on international vessels, and around 20,000 are officially certified to work abroad, according to Captain Soe Min Aung, President of the Myanmar Seafarers’ Federation (MSF). He remarked at the International Seafarers’ Day ceremony held yesterday morning at the National Museum in Dagon Township, Yangon.“Since 2020, MSF has handled over 300 complaints related to workplace injuries and other issues. For those who are injured, we provide medical treatment, salary entitlements, and insurance benefits.
