At the invitation of Rotating Chair of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) President of the Republic of Belarus Mr Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, a Myanmar high-level delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport by special aircraft yesterday morning to attend the 4th Eurasion Economic Forum (EAEF 2025) to be held in Minsk.

MSF marks Seafarers’ Day, aids 300+ cases since 2020
Nearly 40,000 seafarers from Myanmar leave the country each year to serve on international vessels, and around 20,000 are officially certified to work abroad, according to Captain Soe Min Aung, President of the Myanmar Seafarers’ Federation (MSF). He remarked at the International Seafarers’ Day ceremony held yesterday morning at the National Museum in Dagon Township, Yangon.“Since 2020, MSF has handled over 300 complaints related to workplace injuries and other issues. For those who are injured, we provide medical treatment, salary entitlements, and insurance benefits. We also address problems such as unpaid wages and difficulties in the workplace,” said Captain Soe Min Aung. “MSF is committed to supporting seafarers by addressing their concerns and helping to improve their quality of life”.The event was attended by Dr Ko Ko Naing, Director-General of the Department of Maritime Transport, along with the MSF president, executive officers, and members of the Myanmar Seafarers’ Federation. — Arkar Lin/MKKSSource: GNLM

Myanmar delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives in Russia, heads to Belarus
At the invitation of Mr Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus and Rotating Chairman of the EAEU, a high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing departed Myanmar yesterday morning by special plane to attend the 4th Europe-Asia Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk, and was warmly welcomed in the evening at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk by Governor Mr Travnikov Andrey Aleksandrovich and other officials.The Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region held a friendly exchange of views on enhancing economic cooperation between Myanmar and the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation, fostering ties with ASEAN countries, expanding air travel services, and developing the tourism sector.Following the meeting, the State Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region exchanged souvenirs.Afterwards, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister departed from the Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk to the Republic of Belarus, where they were greeted at the airport by the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region and officials. — MNA/THSource: GNLM
