  • Training Completion Ceremony: MOEA UM delivered the opening remarks

The Ministry of Ethnic Affairs held the completion ceremony of Computer Repair and Maintenance Training Course 1/2025 at the Ministry on 2nd July.

Union Minister Khun Thant Zaw Htoo attended the ceremony and made an opening speech. In his opening speech, the Union Minister encouraged the trainees to apply the knowledge and experiences they have gained from the training in their respective workplaces effectively.

Then, the completion certificates were presented to the trainees and honorary certificates were presented to the trainers. After presenting 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to the outstanding trainees, the ceremony was concluded with a speech of gratitude of the 1st prize winner.

Safe Migration said 73 skilled workers who are going to Japan, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Papua New Guinea, France and India on their own will be allowed for training and Overseas Worker Identification Card (OWIC) application.They will have to attend the training on 14 August, and the OWIC application is being scheduled on 15 August, and they need to inform if they are unable to do so according to the schedule.Furthermore, OWIC was also allowed for 76 workers on leave and going back to Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, the USA and Macao. According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, monsoon will be strong over the Andanman Sae and Bay of Bengal, due to the unstable air condition over the Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin States and fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady ,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with regionally and isolated heavyfalls during 13-8-2025 to 17-8-2025.
