Images of rescue operations as four people die after a ferry carrying 65 people sinks on its way to Indonesia's Bali island. The vessel sank before midnight on Wednesday in the Bali Strait as it sailed to the famous holiday destination from Indonesia's main island of Java, Surabaya, search and rescue agency said in a statement Thursday.

As of 07:50 AM local time, 23 passengers were rescued, and 4 people have reported dead, Police Chief of the East Javan town of Banyuwangi said. A local rescue agency earlier said 61 were missing.
