Myanmar and Belarus to strengthen diplomatic and trade ties
Both countries will further promote friendly relations and cooperation.
CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr Uladzimir Baravikou, Ha-
noi-based Belarusian Ambassador to Myanmar, at the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning. They frankly discussed further promotion of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, enhancement of diplomatic relations and trade, increased cooperation in various sectors including education, agriculture, livestock breeding, pharmaceuticals, industries and tourism sectors, sending of students on excursion tours, sending of scholarship students to study science and technology, and further cooperation in defence measures.
SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials were also present on the occasion. — MNA/TTA
