13 July 2025Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.Since they are conducting such terrorist acts on 11 July 2025 at 3:35 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Khin Maung Swe (40 years old) a resident of Yae La Maw Village in Watlet Township of Sagaing Region. He had sustained shrapnel wounds to his eye, shoulder, and leg. Upon investigation, it was found that the incident occurred at around 9:30 AM near the Irrawaddy River port on the eastern side of Ye Lay Maw Village. At the time, U Khin Maung Swe had been loading and unloading goods when a heavy weapon shell, fired by so-called PDF terrorists, exploded nearby, causing his injuries, it is reported.It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.MOHA
