  • Inspection of renovation works: MOHT UM inspected renovation works of hotels

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism, U Kyaw Soe Win, accompanied by Deputy Minister U Phyo Zaw Soe and other senior officials, inspected the progress of reconstruction efforts at the hotels in Hotel Zone-2 which had sustained damage from the major Mandalay earthquake in Uttarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on Wednesday.

During the inspection, general managers and officials from the hotels briefed the Union Minister on the status of repairs and renovations due to the earthquake damage, as well as the hotels' operational status. The Union Minister instructed the officials to pay special attention to ensuring the hotels' cleanliness, pleasantness, and beauty during reconstruction, in line with the characteristics of a capital city.
