Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 July 2025 at 10:30 AM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Sao San Tun Hospital in Taunggyi Township of Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Hla Than (47 years old), a resident of Sin Phyu Village in Pekon Township. The incident had occurred on 18 July 2025 at 12:00 PM, when a heavy weapon shell, fired by pro-terrorism armed insurgent group, exploded at the victim’s house. As a result, the victim sustained shrapnel injuries, and the roof was damaged, it is reported.

It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 19 July 2025 at 5:30 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Lat Yat Village, Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region. When security personnel conducted further investigation, the victim was identified as U Bo Kay Kyaw (aka) Than Sein (45 years old), a resident of the village. When the victim was at his house, six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “decoy”. When the victim was at his house, approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles and abducted him, accusing him of being a “decoy”. The terrorists took him to the village cemetery, located two furlongs west of the village, and gunned him down. As a result, U Aye Min died on the spot, it is reported. Security peosonnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.MOHA

20 July 2025In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 July 2025 at 8:20 PM, a report stated that a girl with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Township Public Hospital in Lashio Township of Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Ma Yu Za Na Tun (12 years old), a resident of Naung Kaw Gyi Village in Hsipaw Township. The incident had occurred at around 4:00 PM on the same day, while the victim was returning home after collecting firewood in a forest west of her village. Law Enforcement: Three men arrested for robbery and murder
Three men were arrested on July 19 for robbing and killing a 74-year-old layperson, U Hla Win from Lay Kyun Mandaing Monastery, near a forest area in Koe Ywa Thapyay Kone Village of Nay Pyi Taw Ottarathiri Township.The suspects Naing Min Tun @ Bo Bo, Zwe Khant Naing @ Zwe Khant, and San Min Nyein @ Pauk Tu confessed to planning the crime due to financial problems. They waited for the victim near his firewood shelter on July 16, attacked him with wooden sticks, and stole his phone and 72,000 kyats.Police seized the weapons and stolen phone as evidence.
