SAC Chair PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Head of Russian Kalmykia Republic
STATE Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Mr Batu Khasikov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia of the Russian Federation, at the Credentials Hall of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed matters pertaining to the improving friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and the Russian Federation, enhancing relations with the Republic of Kalmykia, planning the 2025 International Buddhist Forum in Kalmykia, and how Myanmar can contribute to its success, developing tourism through religious and economic cooperation, mutual educational opportunities, and the agriculture and livestock sectors. Both sides also exchanged frank and friendly views on enhancing cooperation through reciprocal visits.
State Administration Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers U Tin Oo Lwin, and U Min Naung, deputy ministers, Russian Ambassador Mr Iskander Azizov and delegation members were also present on the occasion.
After the meeting, State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Russian Kalmykia Republic Head Mr Batu Khasikov exchanged souvenirs and posed for a documentary photo. — MNA/TS
