Malicious media spreads false reports on  Myitsone Village incident

SUBVERSIVE media outlets falsely reported that security forces carried out an airstrike on Myitsone Village in Myaung Township, Sagaing Region, on 3 February, destroying two houses. Investigations have confirmed that this claim is baseless.

MALICIOUS news media have been found spreading false reports that security forces set fire to Kyauklone Village in Pauk Township, Magway Region, and arrested a civilian.
A responsible security official clarified that the reports of security forces burning down houses in the village were false and that no civilians were arrested. He added that insurgents who oppose regional stability have been intimidating residents. These groups are responsible for acts such as arson in villages that do not support them and the abduction or killing of civilians.

Melon exports to China show promise

MELON and muskmelon are being exported to China and with good prices, the market potential has been fine. “At present, there is export of melon and muskmelon and prices are good. We can fetch a good price and at the same time, transport costs are getting higher.
