The “Internship Programme Graduation and My Story (Story of July) Digital Talent Show 2025” ceremony for final-year students from 19 universities of Computer Studies was held on 27 July at UAB Tower in Kamayut Township, Yangon Region.
The show is jointly organized by the Department of Research and Innovation under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Information and Communication Technology Research Centre (ICTRC), and the Myanmar Digital Entrepreneurs Association (MDEA).

The Japan Culture and Education Fair, a combination of Kira Kira Japan Summer Festival, which can give a taste of Japanese summer and Japan Education Fair, which can provide advice on studying in Japan, will be held on 2-3 August.
At Kira Kira Japan Summer Festival, games which are played in summer festivals of Japan, Kanji Bingo game, Karate and Kendo demonstration, wearing Yukata, lucky draw and dance performance will be included, said the Japan Foundation, Yangon.

The Fisheries Department and Myanmar Fisheries Federation released notices for the fish farmers to be aware of weather conditions and make preparations, as some of the regions and states face flooding due to storms in the 2025 monsoon. In the 2024 monsoon, 4,215.93 acres of fish ponds in Bago Region were flooded, and the Fisheries Department provided fingerlings to resume fish farming.

Eight of the 22 axolotls, rescued from illegal trafficking in Mato Grosso do Sul in 2022, are now on display at Rio de Janeiro's aquarium, AquaRio, to raise awareness about their critically endangered status.
