On July 26, Myanmar and China held third joint meeting in Mangshi, Yunnan Province, to discuss cracking down on online scam operations in the Muse area.

Following this, police forces of both countries conducted a joint operation from July 28 to 30 in Muse, Shan State (North), and arrested 256 Chinese nationals involved in illegal online scams. Equipment used in these crimes was also seized during the operation. In line with bilateral cooperation agreements, Myanmar authorities officially handed over the arrested individuals to Chinese officials at the Man Wein border gate on July 31.

They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 July 2025 at 6:00 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group fired heavy weapons into Pan Dat Inn Village in Launglon Township of Tanintharyi Region. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village. As a result, Mg Soe Moe Naing (13 years old), a resident of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries. The boy was transported to Dawei District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law. MOHA

They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 August 2025 at 3:45 PM, a report stated that a man and a child with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Hla Win (64 years old) and Ma La Yeik (five years old), both residents of Say Yoe Khin Village in Kyauktaga Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist group fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded in the vicinity of the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law. MOHA
