Prime Minister Modi was accorded ceremonial reception at the presidential palace, Casa Rosada in Buenos Aires. He was warmly welcomed by President of Argentina, Javier Milei, marking the start of the high-level diplomatic engagement. Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held delegation level talks with President Javier Milei leading the Argentinian delegation.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid a wreath at the San Martin Memorial in Buenos Aires. Prime Minister paid homage to Jose de San Martin who is widely regarded as the Father of Argentina, at the Plaza de San Martin in Buenos Aires.
