  • Their Majesties Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako arrive in Mongolia

At the invitation of the President of Mongolia, His Majesty Emperor Naruhito and Her Majesty Empress Masako of Japan arrived in Mongolia on a state visit from July 6 to 13. On Sunday, Their Majesties were welcomed at Chinggis Khaan International Airport by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This marks the first state visit of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito and Her Majesty Empress Masako to Mongolia. During the visit, President U. Khurelsukh of Mongolia and His Majesty Emperor Naruhito will hold an official meeting to discuss ways to further strengthen the friendly ties and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries. Their Majesties will also attend the opening ceremony of the “Naadam” National Festival and other official events as guests of honor.
