The government has been actively collaborating with international partners to effectively crack down on illegal activities, including online gambling, online scams, and other criminal offenses.

Particularly, foreign nationals who have illegally entered and resided in border areas, engaging in online gambling and online scam operations, are being investigated, identified, and systematically deported to their respective countries in accordance with legal procedures.

BRICS 2025 Global Agriculture Exhibition and Forum that will take place on 5-7 May 2025 in Moscow, Russia, welcomes the participation of Myanmar business people, companies and business delegates involved in the agriculture and food industry, according to Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization.

As the government has been cracking down on those who were involved in illegal online gambling, scams and criminal activities in Shwe Kokko and KK Park in Myawady, Kayin State by illegally entering Myanmar through border routes after  transiting neighbouring countries including Thailand and 168 more illegal foreign migrants were detained today.

THE Beikthano Archaeological Museum in the ancient Beikthano cultural zone, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, about 12 miles from west of Taungdwingyi township of Magway Region was constructed on 12 July 2004. The construction was completed on 30 November 2007, and the museum was opened to the public on 1 September 2008.

The total travel time, including stops at stations, for the Yangon-Mandalay route will be approximately 11 hours, while the Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon route will take about five and a half hours.

BEIJING: Beijing said on Tuesday (Feb 25) that its defence spending was "entirely necessary" after Russian President Vladimir Putin backed a suggestion by United States counterpart Donald Trump that Russia, the US and China cut their defence budgets in half.

Russia has massively ramped up military spending since launching its invasion of Ukraine in 2022 but spending has also increased in China in recent years as tensions persist in the Asia-Pacific region.

WASHINGTON: French President Emmanuel Macron insisted Monday (Feb 25) that peace cannot mean the "surrender" of Ukraine, warning as he met US counterpart Donald Trump against a world in which the "law of the strongest" wins.

Ukraine "fought over these past few years for its independence and for its sovereignty, but also for our collective security," Macron said.

Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.

Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met here on Sunday with Syria's interim Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani to discuss bilateral cooperation and the latest developments in Syria, according to a statement by Qatar's Foreign Ministry.

The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation between the two countries and addressing current developments in Syria, as well as other topics of mutual interest.
