SAC Chair PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Russian State Duma Deputy Chairman

STATE Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Mr Sholban Kara-Ool, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

VOLKSWAGEN Group and SAIC Motor announced on Wednesday that they have signed an extension for their joint venture contract in Shanghai until 2040, further strengthening their long-term partnership.

SAIC Volkswagen is China’s first joint venture for passenger cars. This marks the second time that both parties have renewed the contract, extending the period of their joint venture to 55 years.

THE venues for the 2024 ASEAN Cup, the premier football tournament in the ASEAN region, have been officially announced. Scheduled from 8 December to 5 January, the competition will feature ten teams divided into two groups. Each team will play four group matches: two at home and two away.

DURING his third visit to the Chinese mainland this year, Apple CEO Tim Cook said he highly values Chinese suppliers.

Analysts believe this has demonstrated the importance of China’s supply chain and market for the American company. “I am so proud that Apple has an exhibit here with our partners. We could not do what we do without them,” Cook said on Monday ahead of the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday in Beijing.

A vessel en route to deliver relief items to Rakhine State

UNDER the guidance of the National Disaster Management Committee and the supervision of the Transport and Communications Committee, relief materials are being transported to Rakhine State using vessels, aircraft, and vehicles.

On 24 November, a vessel carried 2,000 bags of rice (each containing 24 Pyis), along with cooking oil, food products, consumer goods, and medical supplies weighing a total of 172.348 tonnes, from Yangon to Sittway.
