According to the observations at 16:30 hrs MST today, monsoon will be strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, due to the easterly waves and westerly waves, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls during today evening to 4-7-2025.

Temporary Accommodation: Relocation of quake-hit staff in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Kyaw Soe Win inspected the temporary accommodation being provided for the quake hit staff families on Saturday.

The affected staff and their families have been relocated at the temporary place in the compound of Nay Pyi Taw Hoteliers Association in Deckhinathiri Township. Container houses, provided by the National Disaster Management Committee have been assembled to relocate the staff families.
