Turkiye transfers the NATO task group command to Italy

On Friday, Turkiye’s six-month command of the task group has been transferred to Italy. The ceremony took place at the Aksaz Naval Base in Marmaris, Muğla. The Turkish Naval Forces Command has exercised command of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Standing Maritime Group 2 since 3 December 2024. Turkiye has taken on five times in this role before. The command was handed over from Canada six months ago and has now transferred to Italy.

Fuel prices shrink in domestic market

Fuel oil prices dwindled to K3,015 per litre of Octane 92, K3,075 for Octane 95, K2,635 for diesel and K3,265 for premium diesel this week ending 10 July.
The set fuel prices were K3,140 per litre of Octane 92, K3,210 for Octane 95, K2,730 for diesel and K3,385 for premium diesel during the week ending 3 July.
Figures showed a small decrease of K95-K135 per litre compared to those of the previous week.
