Anti-ship and cruise missiles, fighter jets, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles were among the highlights, alongside advanced maritime defense systems developed by ASELSAN, part of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. These technologies underscore Türkiye’s growing capabilities in developing indigenous systems to secure its strategic maritime zones. The Fair scheduled to be held from July 22nd to 27th.

The latest rainstorm left roughly 500 houses and 7,000 hectares of farmland flooded in the Jeollanam-do region alone.

Fans mourn 'legend' Ozzy Osbourne at his star on Hollywood Boulevard

Ozzy Osbourne, the heavy metal musician and pioneer of reality TV, has died at the age of 76, his family said in a statement on Tuesday.

. Stella Bridge, Musician & Ozzy fan said  "I'm a drummer and Crazy Train was one of the first songs that I learned. And, there was no rock and roll without Black Sabbath. So it's very special for all the rock scene and metal and doesn't matter what type of rock, but it's timeless and it teaches you how to be yourself and express yourself."

The Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services, Commander-In-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, along with Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, senior Tatmadaw officials from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers, and other officials, visited Naungcho Township in Shan State (North) in the afternoon on July 21st. 

The Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services, Commander-In-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, along with Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, senior Tatmadaw officials from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers, and other officials, visited Naungcho Township in Shan State (North) in the afternoon on July 21st. 

Naungcho was recently brought back under control after a counter-terrorism operation by the Tatmadaw to enable the public to live peacefully.

During his visit, SAC Vice Chairman met with and honored the victorious officers and ranks in Naungcho. He also inspected the public hospital and schools that had been destroyed by terrorist insurgents. Furthermore, he met with departmental officials and local residents to coordinate and fulfill their needs.

First, the SAC Vice Chairman and officials arrived in Naungcho and attended a ceremony held at the Township Hall to honor the victorious officers and ranks. He delivered a congratulatory speech at the event.

Following this, SAC Vice Chairman, along with Lt-Gen Naing Naing Oo from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), presented rank insignia to the ranks who received field promotions for their outstanding performance in combat. The Deputy Prime Minister then handed over food and provisions for the officers and soldiers, which were received by the responsible officials.

After that, the SAC Vice Chairman and officials visited the temporary hospital in Myanan Taw Win Mingalar  Hall, which was jointly opened by the Tatmadaw and the Ministry of Health. He toured the temporary hospital, offered words of encouragement to local residents receiving medical treatment, and cordially greeted them. He also presented financial aid to the local residents and cash awards to the healthcare staff.

Next, the Vice Senior General and officials visited the Haw Taw Monastery in the southern ward of Naungcho. They paid respects to the Sayadaws led by Sayadaw Bhaddanta Angusa  and offered Waso robes, cash donations, and other offerings.

Subsequently, the SAC Vice Chairman and officials met with local ethnic communities at the Township Hall in Naungcho and delivered a speech.

Following his address, SAC Vice Chairman provided food items such as rice, oil, and salt, along with Family Kits containing 16 types of items from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, for the local ethnic communities. Two community elders received these provisions on behalf of the local residents.

The Vice Chairman then cordially greeted the local ethnic communities attending the ceremony and offered words of encouragement.

Finally, Vice Senior General and officials conducted an inspection tour of various public facilities in Naungcho, including the public hospital, the Township Fire Services Department office, No. (1) Basic Education High School, Township Police Station, and the Township Development Committee Offices. The Vice Senior General provided guidance to the respective departmental officials and ensured that their needs were met.

Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) said the aircraft crash took place due to mechanical fault after taking off from the Bangladesh Air Force Base AK Khandaker in Kurmitola at 01:06PM local on Monday as part of a regular training.

The Marine Day is a Japanese national holiday and the visitors were allowed to board the Meiji Maru to view the seagoing vessel’s luxurious interior. Emperor Meiji’s voyage on the ship in July 1876 later led to the establishment of Marine Day.
