    In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 January 2025, at 5:45 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Pauk Sein Pauk Village in Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Aye Than (38 years old) and his son, Mg Sai Ko Ko (six years old), both residents of the village, were returning home from a farm located northeast of their village. Upon reaching an area near their village, they stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, triggering a detonation. As a result, they sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

    In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are civil servants and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 28 January 2025 at 12:00 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead near Myaung Village in Oakpho Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Thint Naing Tun (35 years old), a resident of Tha Phan Pin Seik Village in Oakpho Township. While the victim was returning home from Myaung Village on his motorcycle, four so-called PDF terrorists, who were waiting for him, opened fire on him on the Commutable Road between Nhaw Kone Village and Tha Phan Pin Seik Village. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 1:30 PM, a report stated that a man with gunshot injuries was admitted to the Dawei Township Public Hospital of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Thaung Yu (58 years old), a resident of Kha Khway Ward in Lounglon Township. While the victim was travelling in a vehicle from Ta Line Taung Village to Lounglon Town, a so-called PDF terrorist faction opened fire on him near Thar Yar Kone Village resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 3:15 PM, a report stated that two men and two women were shot dead near Nga Nan Village in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Myat Thu Aung (32 years old), U Thein Htawy (30 years old), Daw Kyu (50 years old) and Daw Ei Ei Phyo (30 years old), a junior assistant teacher at the Basic Education Primary School in Sone Ywar Village, all residents of Sone Ywar Village in Myingyan Township. While the victims were travelling on a three-wheeled motorcycle from Semekhon Village to Sone Ywar Village, six so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on them on the Semekhon-Nga Nan-Sone Ywar Village Commutable Road near Nga Nan Village. As a result, all the victims died on the spot, it is reported.
    Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of civil servant and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Myint Myint Khine (39 years old), a resident of Thar Si Village in Kyaukgyi Township. The incident occurred while the victim was farming in a peanut field approximately one mile east of her village. She accidentally stepped on an explosive device planted by a faction of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists. The detonation caused her injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 2:15 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Yin Yin Htay (37 years old), a resident of Pa Tein Kone Village in Salin Township. The incident occurred while the victim was travelling on her motorcycle to Salin Town. An explosive device, planted by so-called PDF terrorist faction, detonated on the roadside approximately three furlongs south of her village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.

A so-called PDF terrorist faction opened fire on him on the Commutable Road between Chan Phan Village and Hat Sa Din Village. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 8:55 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Ma Lot Chaung Village, Kyaikto Township of Mon State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Win Aung (aka) Kyat Khaung (59 years old), a resident of the village. The incident occurred while the victim was making a purchase at a shop owned by U Phoe Pein, a fellow resident of the village, four so-called PDF terrorists arriving by two motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilian in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.

    Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 27 January 2025 at 4:50 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to the Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Ka Lar (50 years old), a resident of Sa Kyin Village in Madaya Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 January 2025 at 12:30 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Kalewa Township Public Hospital of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Tun Shein (78 years old) and U Maung Win (73 years old), both residents of Zee Daunk Village in Kalewa Township. The incident occurred while they were heading to the outskirts of their village. When they arrived at an area approximately four furlongs east of their village, they triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to detonate, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Win Oo (53 years old), a 100-household elder and U Thu Rein Win (aka) Pyi Gyi (35 years old), both residents of the ward. The incident occurred that while the victims were at a local betel nut shop, known as the “Bo” betel shop, located at the corner of 45th Street and 107th Street in Aung Thar Yar Ward, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, the victims sustained gunshot injuries and were transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment. However, U Win Oo succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 7:20 PM, a report stated that a man was injured by gunfire on the Village Commutable Road between Yin Nyein (North) Village and Mya Lay Chaung Village in Paung Township of Mon State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Naing Lin (aka) Chat Ywun (30 years old), a resident of Yin Nyein (North) Village. The incident occurred that the victim was travelling on his motorcycle to Mya Lay Chaung Village. Upon reaching the Village Commutable Road, two so-called PDF terrorists, who were following him on another motorcycle, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, the victim sustained gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.

One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Kyaw Win (62 years old), Daw Ohn Mar Khine (40 years old), Daw Mal Thi (39 years old) and Ma Kyal Sin Phyo (12 years old), all residents of the village, were heading to a betel plantation yard approximately six furlongs west of the village. Upon reaching an area near a creek, they triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to detonate. As a result, they sustained shrapnel injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment at a clinic in the village, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:00 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had admitted to the “Aye Myit Tar” special clinic located in No. 2 Ward in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the clinic for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Wai Lin Aung (aka) Nyi Nyi Aung (40 years old), a resident of Pate Tha Noe Village in Madaya Township. The incident occurred that while the victim was returning to his village from Shan Myaung Village. Upon reaching the area near the Yae Kyaw Bridge (locally known as such), he triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to detonate and resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.

MALICIOUS media spread fake news that security forces opened fire with heavy weapons, injuring three civilians and damaging several houses in Sagyin Village of Madaya Township in Mandalay Region on 26 January.
In response to the incident, a relevant official explained that security forces are maintaining control of the area and performing security duties under the law to prevent terrorists from hiding and to ensure the safety of the people. Security forces did not fire at villages without any reason. Terrorists are attacking with heavy weapons inside villages to disrupt the stability and peace of the region and to instil fear in villages that have no support for them. These attacks have destroyed homes and the deaths, injuries, and harm to innocent civilians.
