When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Zaw Htway (47 years old), a resident of Min Kon Village in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region. The incident occurred while the victim was returning home from the Dama Nar Da Monastery in the village. When he approached his house, he stepped on an explosive device planted by a terrorist faction. The device exploded, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were identified as Daw Khin Sein (aka) Daw Hmay (67 years old), Daw Khine Moh Moh Lin (aka) Ma Moe (38 years old), Daw Tin Tin Moe (30 years old) Daw Tin Tin Htay (63 years old) and Mg Zin Min Htet (five years old), all residents of No.9 Ward in Shwebo Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapon into the victims’ ward. The explosion of the heavy weapon shells within the ward caused injuries to the victims, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Kay Khine Oo (33 years old), a senior assistant teacher from Maung Kawt Kan Sub Basic Education High School and a resident of Myaung Hla Oo Village and Mg Min Thu Kha(four years old), a resident of Pauk Sein Pauk Village. Both villages are located in Salin Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired improvised rockets into the victims’ villages. The rockets exploded within the villages, causing injuries to the victims, it is reported.

Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
