SUBVERSIVE media outlets falsely reported that security forces carried out an airstrike on Myitsone Village in Myaung Township, Sagaing Region, on 3 February, destroying two houses. Investigations have confirmed that this claim is baseless. 

According to security officials and residents, security forces have been conducting necessary security measures to prevent terrorists from using these townships as hideouts. They have not targeted villages that are not military objectives and there have been no attacks in such areas. Terrorists have deliberately launched drone and heavy weapon attacks on villages and neighbourhoods that do not support them, aiming to instil fear among residents. Reports indicate that malicious news media intentionally fabricated this story to conceal terrorist activities and mislead the public about the actions of security forces. — MNA/KZL

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 February 2025 at 7:00 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Gon Kone Village, Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Daw Thet Thet Lwin (40 years old), a resident of the village, was on her way to a farm approximately six furlongs west of her village. Upon reaching the area near the farm, she stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. As a result, she sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Magway Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

MALICIOUS news media have been found spreading false reports that security forces set fire to Kyauklone Village in Pauk Township, Magway Region, and arrested a civilian.
A responsible security official clarified that the reports of security forces burning down houses in the village were false and that no civilians were arrested. He added that insurgents who oppose regional stability have been intimidating residents. These groups are responsible for acts such as arson in villages that do not support them and the abduction or killing of civilians.
Security forces continue to carry out necessary operations to ensure public safety. Meanwhile, subversive news media are deliberately spreading misinformation using misleading photos to create public misunderstanding about security forces. — MNA/KZL

       Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets, and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 1 February 2025 at 8:30 PM, a report stated that a monk with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Dawei Township Public Hospital of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was a monk named Htay Ya Wun Tha (30 years old), who had been in monkhood for three years. He is the son of U Zaw Htet Aung and resides at Thal Taw Ywar Monastery (locally known by this name) in Yaung Maw Village, Dawei Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the monastery compound, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
       Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, monks are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 1 February 2025 at 10:40 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Ywar Bo Village, Singaing Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Tun Tun (53 years old), a resident of the village. While he was at the “Sein Sa Pal Oo” tea shop in the village, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killing and assassination of innocent civilians in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

Their targets are administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 31 January 2025 at 9:00 AM, a report stated that two men were shot dead in Myaung-U Village, Saytoattaya Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Village Administrator U Kyaw Lwin (52 years old) and U Aung Myo Win (50 years old), both residents of the village. While the victims were their respective houses, a so-called PDF terrorist faction arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, both the victims died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Ma Khine Wai Zaw (10 years old) and a resident of Ah-Nout Kan Baung Village in Salin Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction carried out an attack by dropping bombs on the victim’s village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them.      In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 January 2025 at 10:50 AM, an explosion reportedly occurred in Myawaddy Ward, Monywa Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel arrived to investigate the incident. During the investigation, they found that Daw Khin Nwe Htay (35 years old), a resident of the ward, was at her house when a so-called PDF terrorist arrived on a motorcycle and threw an explosive device before fleeing. The device detonated within the compound of her residence, causing shrapnel injuries from the blast. She was subsequently transported to Monywa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 8:25 PM, an explosion reportedly occurred near Gawt Ywar Gyi Village, Thaton Township, Mon State. Security personnel arrived to investigate the incident. During the investigation, they found that U Kyaw Shwe (58 years old) and Mg Nyi Nyi Phyo (16 years old), both from Bin Hlaing Ward, Thaton Township, were working in an area locally known as Gothan Field near Gawt Ywar Gyi Village when they stepped on an explosive device planted by a faction of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists. The explosion caused both individuals to sustain shrapnel injuries, and they were transported to Thaton District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.

    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 28 January 2025 at 12:00 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead near Myaung Village in Oakpho Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Thint Naing Tun (35 years old), a resident of Tha Phan Pin Seik Village in Oakpho Township. While the victim was returning home from Myaung Village on his motorcycle, four so-called PDF terrorists, who were waiting for him, opened fire on him on the Commutable Road between Nhaw Kone Village and Tha Phan Pin Seik Village. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 1:30 PM, a report stated that a man with gunshot injuries was admitted to the Dawei Township Public Hospital of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Thaung Yu (58 years old), a resident of Kha Khway Ward in Lounglon Township. While the victim was travelling in a vehicle from Ta Line Taung Village to Lounglon Town, a so-called PDF terrorist faction opened fire on him near Thar Yar Kone Village resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 3:15 PM, a report stated that two men and two women were shot dead near Nga Nan Village in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Myat Thu Aung (32 years old), U Thein Htawy (30 years old), Daw Kyu (50 years old) and Daw Ei Ei Phyo (30 years old), a junior assistant teacher at the Basic Education Primary School in Sone Ywar Village, all residents of Sone Ywar Village in Myingyan Township. While the victims were travelling on a three-wheeled motorcycle from Semekhon Village to Sone Ywar Village, six so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on them on the Semekhon-Nga Nan-Sone Ywar Village Commutable Road near Nga Nan Village. As a result, all the victims died on the spot, it is reported.
    Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of civil servant and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.
