They opened fire with small arms and set the shop on fire, completely destroying it. As a result, a two-story reinforced concrete (RC) building measuring 25 feet in length, 20 feet in width and 20 feet in height was burned down and severely damaged, it is reported.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts on 11 July 2025 at 3:35 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Khin Maung Swe (40 years old) a resident of Yae La Maw Village in Watlet Township of Sagaing Region. He had sustained shrapnel wounds to his eye, shoulder, and leg. Upon investigation, it was found that the incident occurred at around 9:30 AM near the Irrawaddy River port on the eastern side of Ye Lay Maw Village.
