The terrorists then threatened four daily wage workers, including U Kyaw Thura (35 years old) from Ward (2) in Sin Phyu Kyun Town, at gunpoint, forcing them to cut off the electricity supply to Salin and Sin Phyu Kyun towns. As a result, electricity distributing to urban wards and villages within Salin Township was disrupted.
Security personnel and relevant authorities are taking necessary measures as per security protocols, to identify and apprehend the terrorists who forced the power station staff at gunpoint to cut off the electricity distribution and also maintain efforts to restore normal electricity supply, it is reported.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 28 February 2025 at 1:10 PM, a report stated that a deceased man and a woman with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Kawkareik District Public Hospital in Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired on No.2 Ward in Kawkareik Town, Kawkareik Township. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the ward. As a result, U Nay Win (40 years old), a resident of the ward, died on the spot, while his wife, Daw Hnin Si Aye (38 years old), also a resident of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. As a result, U Myint Swe sustained gunshot wounds. Additionally, the terrorists robbed a motorbike, two pairs of gold earrings, a mobile phone and 400,000 MMK in cash before fleeing. The injured individual was transported to Sa Lay Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
