In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 June 2025 at 3:00 PM, a combined team comprising security personnel and members of the people’s militia encountered an explosive device went off while conducting routine security operations near Yar Gyi Pyin Village in Pauk Township of Magway Region. The incident occurred approximately 1,000 meters northeast of the village near a forested area where a so-called PDF terrorist group had reportedly planted the device. As a result of the explosion, U Zaw Myint (35 years old) and a member of the people’s militia, sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Pauk Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

These acts include the destruction of school textbooks and stationery, the intimidation and abduction of education staff and students, targeted killings, the planting of explosive devices to destroy educational buildings and sending threatening letters to the teachers.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 June 2025 at 1:00 PM, a report stated that a threatening letter had been found at the Basic Education High School in Lal Bal Village, Pyay Township of Bago Region. Upon further investigation, security personnel discovered that the letter placed on a bench outside a Grade-5 Class Room. The A4 size paper contained explicit warnings demanding the cessation of all teaching activities at the school.  The security personnel removed and disposed of the threatening paper, it is reported.

Inside, they uncovered illegal online financial scam activities and apprehended the following individuals 40 Chinese Nationals (Male), 33 Myanmar Nationals (Male), and 10 Myanmar Nationals (Female). Seized items included 120 Mobile Phones of various Models, 86 Computers, three Wi-Fi routers and one Crown brand vehicle. At House No. (Ha Na-8), located in Kaung Mu Tone Ward and also owned by an individual still under verification, authorities discovered and raided another illegal online financial scam activities. During the operation, they apprehended one Chinese National (Male), 26 Myanmar Nationals (Male) and 28 Myanmar Nationals (Female). Seized evidence included 16 Computers, 334 Mobile Phones of various Models, Three Wi-Fi routers, One CROWN brand vehicle and one TOYOTA LANDCRUISER.

Regarding the above incident, the Myanmar Police Force has issued a statement confirming that 41 Chinese male nationals, along with 59 Myanmar male nationals and 38 Myanmar female nationals apprehended during the operation, will face legal action in accordance with the law. Authorities are continuing to handle the case in an effective and systematic manner.

Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 17 June 2025 at 3:30 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Pyin Oo Lwin Township Public Hospital of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Eaik Mon (40 years old), a resident of Ohn Ma Tee Village in Naungcho Township of Northern Shan State. The incident occurred when TNLA terrorist group fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians have been injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

The explosion occurred while security personnel, along with members of the Public Security and Counter-Terrorism Team, were conducting mine clearance activities. As a result, two members of the Public Security and Counter-Terrorism Team, U Nyan Zaw Oo (36 years old) and U Win Thu (35 years old), both residents of Htaung Hmu Village, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured were transported to Thein Seik Station Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, U Nyan Zaw Oo succumbed to his injuries on route to the hospital. The blast caused no damage to the railway track, it is reported.
