Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin inspected development and rehabilitation efforts in villages along the Loikaw-Moebye-Pinlaung Road on Thursday.

The Chief Minister and party visited Kayan Thaya, Htiri, Kone Thar, Hsaung Kan, Warikawku, and Pikinkawku villages to observe resettlement efforts, road repairs for better transport access, and the condition of schools, healthcare centers, and agriculture-based industries.

They oversaw the repair work on a concrete road damaged by flooding near milepost 88/4, and inspected land clearing activities along the border of Kayah and Shan States. The Chief Minister urged speedy completion to ease travel and trade.

He also visited Moebye Creek to assess irrigation potential and inspected the basic education schools, rice and oil mills, monastic schools, and power and water needs. He called for systematic resettlement and full restoration of basic services.

At Kayan Thaya Substation, the Chief Minister coordinated efforts for power restoration to Loikaw Industrial Zone and surrounding villages, and also discussed repairing national grid transmission lines. Later, he visited the Nwar Lawoe Rural Health Center and instructed continued healthcare services. He also inspected the fuel stations to ensure timely reopening, availability, and fair pricing for commuters and traders.
