To ensure the timely completion of construction and regional development projects in Myitkyina, Kachin State, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, accompanied by State Ministers and departmental officials, conducted a field inspection on July 14.First, the Chief Minister, along with the officials, inspected the Kachin State Cultural Museum in Ayeyar Ward, Myitkyina. They toured the newly completed extended building, where exhibits showcasing the traditional cultures and customs of local ethnic groups are displayed using modern exhibition techniques.The Chief Minister coordinated efforts to ensure a more comprehensive display of tangible and intangible ethnic cultures with complete historical documentation through modern systems, to facilitate coordination with literary and cultural organizations, and to provide necessary resources.Next, the Chief Minister visited the construction site of the new City Hall in Myitkyina, which is being built with a modern and fresh urban design incorporating Kachin traditional patterns. At the briefing area, officials from Jade Land Myanmar Company, responsible for the construction of the new hall, and the Director of the State Development Committee, presented the work to be carried out in different fiscal years.The Chief Minister provided the necessary support. From there, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to Yay Kyi in Pammati Ward. They inspected the area of Yay Kyi Field, which covers 15 acres along the Union Highway, and where waterlogging has occurred.They assessed the condition of the drainage system to improve water flow and coordinated efforts for concrete road construction and widening the drainage channels. After that, the Chief Minister and officials visited the construction site of the Yay Kyi Stream water control gate, which is part of the measures to protect the city from river flooding.
