US President Donald Trump announced a deal with Japan on Tuesday on social media. He says the reciprocal tariffs will be 15 percent. Japan’s Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru also spoke about the deal. Ishiba says US and Japan have been negotiating to protect national interests since February and they’ve been engaged in intense negotiations to protect automobiles and other sectors.

Japan and the US will work together to create employment and quality goods and will contribute to the international community in various ways, he added.
