According to the Myanmar Police Force, 2 million stimulant tablets (estimated local value: 800 million kyats) were seized in Mong Hsat Township.

The incident occurred on July 20 at around 8:30 a.m., when a combined force including members of anti-narcotics task of Myanmar Police Force conducted a search based on intelligence. They stopped and searched an ISUZU vehicle near Juu Lu Village in the Mae Pu Lon village tract, Mong Hsat Township, which was traveling from Mong Twang Village toward Mong Hsat town.

During the search, the combined forces discovered 2 million stimulant tablets, valued at approximately 800 million kyats in the local market.

According to further investigation, the seized stimulant tablets were being transported from Wan Ton Village in Mong Hsat Township to an area near Mae Kin Village in Mong Ton Township. Legal action has been taken against those involved, and efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest others connected to the case.
