Mexican President Sheinbaum attended a ceremony in Mexico City's Zocalo to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the founding of Mexico-Tenochtitlan, the pre-Hispanic capital of the Aztecs. The event included a presidential speech and a historical reenactment performed by 38 members of the Army, Air Force and National Guard.

On his social media platform Truth Social Saturday, US President Trump said that he has spoken to the Prime Minister of Cambodia and the Acting Prime Minister of Thailand to request a ceasefire between the two countries.

Thailand and Cambodia both want to have an immediate ceasefire and peace, according to Trump. Trump also said the United States is currently dealing with trade with both countries, but he doesn't want to make any deal with either country if they are fighting.

The matriculation exam results for the March 2025 examinations, along with the retake exams held in June 2025 for regions and states affected by the Mandalay earthquake, were simultaneously and definitively announced nationwide this morning.

These results are now displayed at schools across all regions and states, including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. Students and parents are calmly coming to view them.

The 26th edition of annual Ani-com & Games Hong Kong festival will be held for five days until Tuesday. It features more than 610 exhibitors selling merchandise and collectibles at the city's Convention Centre.  Thousands of cosplayers and fans of anime, dressed as characters such as Dr Mario, Pikachu and Hokusai were undeterred by the summer heat who joined an outdoor queue before streaming into the festival.
