Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 23 February 2025 at 7:30 AM, a report stated that an explosoin occurred near Tone Taw Village in Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Khin Maung Htay (44 years old), a resident of the village, stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, while herding cows a location approximately five furlongs east of his village. As a result, U Khin Maung Htay sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Taungoo District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

NAY PYI TAW February 25

As the government has been cracking down on those who were involved in illegal online gambling, scams and criminal activities in Shwe Kokko and KK Park in Myawady, Kayin State by illegally entering Myanmar through border routes after  transiting neighbouring countries including Thailand and 168 more illegal foreign migrants were detained today.

Combined teams of relevant departments are collecting their personal information and documents within a day to repatriate them to relevant countries as soon as possible.

Moreover, Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Min Thu Kyaw of Kayin State Government and officials inspected the proper detention of illegal migrants this morning and the collection of personal information and documents of the 168 more illegal migrants detained today.

Then, the security and border affairs minister met with departmental officials and coordinated necessary measures for collecting correct and complete information, providing healthcare, accommodation and food and facilitating the repatriation process of illegal migrants without delays.

During the period from 30 January to 25 February, 2025, a total of 2,538 illegal foreign migrants to Myanmar were uncovered and detained and 673 of them were properly repatriated to relevant countries through Thailand in accordance with the law, rules and regulations and the remaining 1,865 illegal migrants are ready for repatriation to their countries while they are being detained properly.

I was told by Chinese national Sai Cua, who I was familiar with online, that I would get a marketing job in Thailand and the salary would be discussed when we met in person. So, I left Noi Bar Airport, Vietnam for Bangkok by air on 8 November, 2024. A Thai national came to meet and greet me at the airport and took me to Mae Sot.

Then, we crossed a creek by a motorized boat. On arrival at the other bank, I was taken by a car, which was waiting for me, to the 100-acre Myitta Lin Myaing site in Myawady. I had to handle computer marketing online and find customers for the Dang Chu company owned by a Chinese national.

I was paid 25,500 Baht per month.

Mr. Qiau Ke Ji, China (Taipei)

My education status is post high school level. I had worked in online scam centres before. I was told online that I would get a gold smuggling job in Bangkok and would be paid 50,000 Baht.

So, I left Tai Zhong Airport for Bangkok by air on 23 March, 2024. I stayed one night at a Bangkok hotel and continued to  Mae Sot by a car owned by a Thai national. On arrival at Mae Sot, I crossed the river by motorized boat to the 100-acre site in Myitta Lin Myaing Village in Myawady. I got a job in the Huan Ya company owned by Chinese national Zhong Guo and had to work for online scam operations.

I was paid 12,500 Baht per month.

Mrs. Shi Rong Min (Chinese national)

My education status is university level. I was persuaded by a Chinese national through WeChat that I would have to smuggle gold in Thailand and would be paid handsomely. So, I left Shi Bi Zian city, China, for Bangkok by air on 12 September, 2024. On arrival in Bangkok, I was taken by a Thai national to Mae Sot, where I crossed a river to Myanmar by motorized boat.

I had to work in the Huan Ya company owned by Chinese national Zhong Guo in the 100- acre site in Myitta Lin Myaing Village in Myawady. I had to work for online scam operations. I was not paid.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 February 2025 at 3:00 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Wai Yan Kyaw (31 years old), a resident of Kwat Taw Village in Madaya Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Thin Naing (34 years old), Ma Theint Ya Thi Thwal (6 years old) and Mg Zin Min Aung (18 years old) all residents of Kyi Kone Village in Chaung-U Township of Sagaing Region. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
 Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

Their targets are administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 20 February 2025 at 7:30 PM, Village Administrator U Soe Naing (54 years old), U Tun Win (62 years old), U Win Naing (48 years old), U Htay Wai (58 years old) and U Myint Maung (62 years old) all residents of Tha Yat Kan Village in Ngazun Township of Mandalay Region, were at their respective houses when approximately 15 so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a Light Truck vehicle. Then, the terrorists abducted all five men and took them to the entrance of the village, beneath a rain tree. There, U Tun Win and U Win Naing were shot by the terrorists, while the remaining U Soe Naing, U Htay Wai and U Myint Maung were taken away, it is reported.
 Similarly, at 8:45 PM, Htaunk Kyant Village Tract Administrator U Tin Win Hlaing (59 years old) a resident of Sar Chaung Village in Minhla Township of Bago Region, was at the house of Ko Nay Toe (28 years old) also resident of the village, when three so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, U Tin Win Hlaing died on the spot, it is reported.  
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of administrative officials and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.

The incident occurred that the victim stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction while farming near Pan Yan Village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 19 February 2025 at 8:45 AM, when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired improvised mortars and dropped bombs into Ngwe Twin Village in Ayartaw Township of Sagaing Region. The improvised mortar shells and bombs exploded within the village, injuring several residents. Among the injured were an abbot of the Shwe Thein Taw Monastery, Taw Ba Na (73 years old) monk with 15 years of monkhood, U Kyi Phwar (58 years old), Mg Shine Wanna Htun (four years old), Ma Hnin Wai (22 years old) and Ma Khine Zin Win (23 years old). They sustained shrapnel wounds from the explosions and are currently receiving medical treatment at the village's rural clinic, it is reported.

Similarly, at 3:15 PM, a report stated that a man and woman with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Shan Po (52 years old) and his elder sister, Daw Shwe Sint (67 years old), both residents of Myay Net Village in Ayartaw Township of Sagaing Region. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 3:15 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims was Ma Zin Zin Thant Win (28 years old), a resident of Myauk Kone Village in Myingyan Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
 Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians and monks are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, they discovered that U Myo Min Oo (aka) Ko Myo (41 years old), a daily wage worker from the Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department and resident of Myodwin Village in Gyobingauk Township, had sustained shrapnel injuries while making a firebreak path at Bawbim Dam approximately three miles east of Sal Taw Oo Village. The explosion occurred when he stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction and was subsequently transported to the No.(6) Military Hospital (100-bedded) in Shwetaung Town for medical treatment, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that while U Myo Myint (46 years old), a resident of the village, was at the Village Administrator’s Office in the village, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Myo Myint died on the spot, it is reported. 
 Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killing and assassination of innocent civilian in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they discovered that the victim was Ko Tun Lin Aung (28 years old), a resident of Moke Kha Mu Village in Nyaunglebin Township. The incident occurred while he was heading to a farm approximately two furlongs southwest of his village. Upon reaching the farm, he stepped on an explosive device planted by a faction of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists. The device detonated, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
