The State Administration Council continues to invite individuals within various organizations, including the PDF, who are taking up arms against the state, to re-enter the legal fold.
The SAC is providing necessary assistance and support to those who choose to do so. On July 27, 13 members from the so-called MDY-PDF group, having understood and accepted the peace processes of the State and the Tatmadaw, have additionally rejoined the legal framework.
A ceremony was held at a local military hall in Mandalay to welcome these 13 male members of the MDY-PDF group who re-entered the legal fold and to hand them back to their parents. The event was attended by officials from the Central Command, the returning group members, and their parents.
Firstly, officials provided explanations regarding legal provisions. Subsequently, the returning MDY-PDF members signed pledges and were formally handed over to their parents or guardians. Officials then provided them with financial assistance and supplies.
One of the individuals who re-entered the legal framework expressed his gratitude. The State Administration Council continues to warmly welcome and provide necessary assistance to those who re-enter the legal framework, systematically handing them back to their parents and guardians.
From July 17 to 27, a total of 97 individuals have rejoined the legal fold, including 4 members of the TNLA, 41 members of the DPLA, and 52 members of the MDY-PDF. They have brought with them 13 various weapons, 1515 rounds of assorted ammunition, and 12 magazines.
It is learnt that there are still individuals who wish to re-enter the legal framework. Those who desire to do so are urged to contact their nearest District and Township Administrative Bodies, military camps, or police stations immediately. They will be welcomed, provided with necessary assistance and support, and rewards will be given for surrendered weapons and ammunition.
