The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment in the village, it is reported.

 The incident took place on 18 March 2025 at 8:50 PM, in Kyar Ni Kan Ward, Shwedaung Township of Bago Region. Security personnel went to the scene and to investigate the explosion. According to the investigation, it was found that U Than Htike (52 years old), a resident of Yon Tan Ward in Shwedaung Township, was transporting improvised explosive devices on a sidecar motorcycle for a planned terrorist bombing. While travelling along Ti Kone Ywar Thit Road in Kyar Ni Kan Ward, an accidental explosion occurred. As a result, Than Htike sustained injuries from the blast. Security personnel also discovered an unexploded improvised explosive device near the site of the explosion. The injured U Than Htike was transported to Shwedaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are taking necessary measures as per security procedures and will take legal action against Than Htike as per the law. They continue to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.

With the aim of creating an uneducated society by depriving children of their right to education and instilling fear among the public, the NUG, CRPH and their subordinate PDF terrorist groups, which have been designated as terrorist organizations by the government, are carrying out various destructive activities across the country. These include intimidation and coercion of students, teachers and parents abductions and killings and arson and bombing attacks on education facilities.

With the aim of creating an uneducated society by depriving children of their right to education and instilling fear among the public, the NUG, CRPH and their subordinate PDF terrorist groups, which have been designated as terrorist organizations by the government, are carrying out various destructive activities across the country. These include intimidation and coercion of students, teachers and parents abductions and killings and arson and bombing attacks on education facilities. In addition to these acts, PDF terrorists, driven by destructive intent, are vandalizing government efforts to develop the education sector. Their actions include burning textbooks and teaching materials, seizing educational resources by force and distributing threatening letters at schools.
 Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 16 March 2025 a threatening letter was reportedly found at the Basic Education High School in Pa Yat Kyawl Village, Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region. Security personnel arrived there for further investigation and found a "warning notice" pasted to the door of staff housing within the school compound, along with a 7.62 x 39 bullet. The notice read “To U Ye Win Hlaing, a teacher at the Basic Education Middle School in Nyar Taw Village, Taungdwingyi Township and Daw Ya Mon Phyu, a teacher at Pa Yat Kyawl Basic Education High School are warned with a bullet by the Magway Guerrilla Force, PDF "Bo Thar Ti," the guerrilla leader”. The security personnel removed both the letter and the bullet.

 Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 16 March 2025 a threatening letter was reportedly found at the Basic Education High School in Pa Yat Kyawl Village, Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region. Security personnel arrived there for further investigation and found a "warning notice" pasted to the door of staff housing within the school compound, along with a 7.62 x 39 bullet. The notice read “To U Ye Win Hlaing, a teacher at the Basic Education Middle School in Nyar Taw Village, Taungdwingyi Township and Daw Ya Mon Phyu, a teacher at Pa Yat Kyawl Basic Education High School are warned with a bullet by the Magway Guerrilla Force, PDF "Bo Thar Ti," the guerrilla leader”. The security personnel removed both the letter and the bullet.
Security personnel are taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend as per security procedures and take legal action against those terrorists doing such terrorist acts with the intent to disrupt school openings as well as to intimidate students, teachers and parents, it is reported.
