Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 March 2025 at 11:25 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist faction carried out an attack by dropping bombs on Twin Ma Village in Myaing Township of Magway Region. The bombs exploded within the village, resulting in shrapnel injuires to two residents: U Tin Maung (90 years old) and Daw Paw (83 years old). The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment in the village, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

FALSE reports stated that security forces burned houses in Bangbwe Village in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, destroying 18 homes. Local officials say this is not true.
A security official explained that terrorists attacked villages and forced people into illegal activities like extortion. In some cases, terrorists burned houses in villages that did not follow their orders. They used heavy weapons to carry out these attacks.

In Shwedaung Township, Bago Region, an explosion occurred while a male terrorist was transporting improvised explosive devices for an intended act of terrorism, resulting in his arrest after sustaining injuries.
 The incident took place on 18 March 2025 at 8:50 PM, in Kyar Ni Kan Ward, Shwedaung Township of Bago Region. Security personnel went to the scene and to investigate the explosion. According to the investigation, it was found that U Than Htike (52 years old), a resident of Yon Tan Ward in Shwedaung Township, was transporting improvised explosive devices on a sidecar motorcycle for a planned terrorist bombing. While travelling along Ti Kone Ywar Thit Road in Kyar Ni Kan Ward, an accidental explosion occurred. As a result, Than Htike sustained injuries from the blast. Security personnel also discovered an unexploded improvised explosive device near the site of the explosion. The injured U Than Htike was transported to Shwedaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are taking necessary measures as per security procedures and will take legal action against Than Htike as per the law. They continue to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 March 2025 at 1:10 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Dawei Township Public Hospital of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Thein Zaw (44 years old) and Ko Thet Tin Oo (22 years old), both residents of Zee Kya Village in Yebyu Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired motars into the victims’ village. One of the mortar shells exploded within a rubber plantation yard in the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 March 2025 at 7:00 AM, a report stated that three men were shot dead in Myay Ni Kone Village of Sidoktaya Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Village Administrator U Win Thaung (62 years old), U Mya Thaung (68 years old), a 100-household elder and U Aung Myint Kyi (57 years old), a 10-household elder, all residents of the village, were attacked in their respective houses. Around 30 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, all three men died on the spot, it is reported.

Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and the assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Zein Htaung (70 years old), a resident of Zay Thit Ward in Hakha Township. The incident occurred when the victim stepped on an explosive device plated by a so-called CDF terrorist faction while repairing a water pipe near Kyaw Boke Monastery in the ward, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Similary at 4:50 PM, U Win Myint (53 years old) and his wife, Daw Myat Myat Thu (40 years old), both residents of Shwe Pauk Pin Ward in Pauk Township of Magway Region, were walking to their farm. When they reached the Pauk Town-Pauk Chaung Village dirt road, they stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. The device exploded, causing shrapnel injuries to both. They were transported to Pauk Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Mya Thein (aka) U Ba Htoo (64 years old) and his wife, Daw Myint Myint Sein (67 years old), both residents of the village, were at their house when two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a motorcycle and opened fire on them, accusing them of being a “decoy couple”. As a result, the couple died on the spot, it is reported.

With the aim of creating an uneducated society by depriving children of their right to education and instilling fear among the public, the NUG, CRPH and their subordinate PDF terrorist groups, which have been designated as terrorist organizations by the government, are carrying out various destructive activities across the country. These include intimidation and coercion of students, teachers and parents abductions and killings and arson and bombing attacks on education facilities. In addition to these acts, PDF terrorists, driven by destructive intent, are vandalizing government efforts to develop the education sector. Their actions include burning textbooks and teaching materials, seizing educational resources by force and distributing threatening letters at schools.
 Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 16 March 2025 a threatening letter was reportedly found at the Basic Education High School in Pa Yat Kyawl Village, Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region. Security personnel arrived there for further investigation and found a "warning notice" pasted to the door of staff housing within the school compound, along with a 7.62 x 39 bullet. The notice read “To U Ye Win Hlaing, a teacher at the Basic Education Middle School in Nyar Taw Village, Taungdwingyi Township and Daw Ya Mon Phyu, a teacher at Pa Yat Kyawl Basic Education High School are warned with a bullet by the Magway Guerrilla Force, PDF "Bo Thar Ti," the guerrilla leader”. The security personnel removed both the letter and the bullet.
Security personnel are taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend as per security procedures and take legal action against those terrorists doing such terrorist acts with the intent to disrupt school openings as well as to intimidate students, teachers and parents, it is reported.
